Darien & Nick met on the dating app, Hinge. He asked her out for drinks and she told him what her favorite drink was, so he had drinks waiting for them (a vodka club is her go-to). Their first date went so well that they went to dinner afterwards. A few days later, they met at a bar. Their third date was yoga, and ever since then, they’ve been inseparable.

Darien & Nick brought us out to New York City to photograph their engagement session. We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again; we love photographing our couples in places that are meaningful to them!

The Proposal
Darien & Nick got engaged on September 16th of 2022 at the Finger Lakes where they went on a tour of the vineyard and Nick hired a photographer who posed as a patron. Darien had her best friend and her fiancé there. While they were taking photos, Nick asked Darien to close her eyes. He handed her a fortune cookie that said “Your luck is going to turn this month,” and he proposed. Goosebumps, right?!

The Wedding
Darien & Nick will be getting married at the Inn at Leola Village on June 1st of 2024. They are SO excited for their weekend long celebration, and we are, too!
