How Their Story Began
Sophie & Wes met during their freshman year at Penn State University, and it wasn’t until their sophomore year that they began dating.

Together they love hiking and are huge foodies and love going out to eat.

The Proposal
Over Thanksgiving they went on a trip up to see both of their families in PA. Wes was keeping a secret the whole time and even had Sophie’s parents in on it! In the Poconos (where Sophie is originally from), they went on a walk to see a waterfall. Her parents were “going to go with them”, but they made an excuse to not go with them so that Wes could propose. He took pictures as he asked Sophie to marry him (wow, what a multitasker!). Sophie’s parents eventually showed up and brought champagne and flowers. What a fun celebration they had!

The Wedding
Sophie and Wes will be holding their ceremony at Wesley United Methodist Church and their reception will be at the Historic Hotel Bethlehem on June 18th of 2022. June is such a pretty time of year to get married! We got married on June 28th, so we may be a bit biased.
