How Their Story Began
Jen & Jose met on match.com. She was in a relationship for a long time before that, so she was very hesitant to do any dating. Her dad actually encouraged her to try it. Jose ended up being her first date, so this online dating thing ended up working out.

On their first date they went to Starbucks and talked for a long while. There was a blizzard that day, so they both made the risky effort to get together. They’ve been together for what will be 4 years this coming January. Every year they love to reenact their first date, even down to wearing the same outfit!

Jen loves how patient Jose is. He is her solid rock and has always been there for her no matter what. He always makes her laugh. She also loves how good he is with things he’s passionate about or what she’s passionate about.

Jose loves how Jen can have such an open heart to everyone. No matter how busy or stressed she is, she always has room for others who need her. She’s always juggling 100 different things, but makes people feel the most important.

The Proposal
Jen tells us that she kind of messed up Jose’s plan to propose to her. He had something planned in the New Hope area while a friend was doing the photography. The day of the planned proposal, Jen’s uncle was moving to an assisted living facility, so she wanted to make dinner for her uncle at the house since it was his last dinner there. Needless to say, Jose’s plans were scrapped. He had the ring burning in his pocket for a while. He didn’t have anything else planned, so they went bike riding in October at a special park (they had been on dates there). She was out of breath and they were by this construction site at the park. He asked her right then and there, and she said yes. She felt bad that she made him feel bad (he asked her if he did the proposal wrong). So, she ended up proposing to him in front of their families the next morning on October 9th, 2019.

The Wedding
Jen & Jose will be getting married on July 17th, 2021 at the woodsy-chic Pomme in Radnor, PA. They can’t wait to have all of their family members and friends gathered all together, dancing the night away, and finally being married!
