How Their Story Began
Carrie & Michael met during her sophomore year and his junior year in college. They joined the same extracurricular group where she was assigned the project manager role. This lead to them talking and eventually going on their first date of apple-picking. Early on they both knew that they would be spending the rest of their lives together.

In their free time they enjoy going for walks and hikes, reading, and loving on their most adorable pet bunny and cat.

The Proposal
In June of 2019 Carrie & Michael went on vacation to California. They traveled throughout the Napa Valley and to Yosemite. They did a lot of hiking and exploring and went to the tree in Mariposa Grove called the ‘Faithful Couple.’ This is where Michael asked Carrie to spend the rest of her life with him. It was very fitting and so thoughtful of him since she focused on forest pathology in school. 

The Wedding
Carrie & Michael were supposed to be getting married on May 30th, 2020, but due to the pandemic, they have postponed to later in June. They’ll be exchanging their vows to one another at First Lutheran Church in Carlisle and then celebrating at the beautiful Linwood Estate. In addition to finally being married, they are really looking forward to good food & drinks, dancing, and making memories with their loved ones.

Congratulations, Carrie & Michael! We had the greatest time exploring your (Carrie’s) parents’ stunning property during our session together. We are so excited for your love to blossom and can’t wait to celebrate you becoming husband & wife so soon! Thank you for the honor! ♥
