How Their Story Began
Caleb was home schooled for the majority of his school career and Destiny went to public school, but she knew some of his friends. One day Caleb decided to reach out over Facebook and he sent her a message. At that time, she didn’t give him much of a response. A year and a half later, during a really difficult time in her life, Caleb reached out again, and she decided to give him a chance. They ended up going on their first date a few months after they started talking. They’ve been together for over 5 years now and have a precious little girl named Addie.
When Caleb is traveling for work, Destiny likes to take their daughter bowling. Both Destiny and Caleb are into guns and enjoy shooting together. They also love lounging at home, watching TV.
If he could have proposed sooner than September 14th, 2018, he would have! Caleb set up the proposal with Destiny’s mom and her best friend. At the time, Caleb was in New York working on a glass furnace, so Destiny and her girls went out to Spring Gate Vineyard for wine slushies when someone came up to her and touched her shoulder. That someone was Caleb! He had a big bouquet of roses and asked her to marry him.
Caleb wanted to get married on their anniversary date of August 28th, 2014, but Destiny loves fall, so they will be holding their ceremony and reception at the beautiful Whispering Pines Estate in Lewisberry, PA on October 19th, 2019.
