Lacey & Sean met at Rider University in New Jersey where they both attended college. Lacey says she didn’t know a single soul when she enrolled at the school, but that she must have been drawn to it for a reason; that reason being Sean.
They met at the end of Lacey’s freshman year through mutual friends, but at the time, they were both seeing other people. Lacey recalls their first conversation where Sean walked up to her dorm while she was lying on her bunk, reading a book. Sean asked her what she was reading, and her response was “a book,” and she turned away from him. Sean still has not forgotten about that. LOL!
The couple became official during Lacey’s junior year and Sean’s senior year of college. After Lacey graduated, they had a long distance relationship for a year and a half, driving 3 hours to see each other on the weekends. They finally decided to move in together in August of 2015 and have been having tons of fun since!
Lacey & Sean wanted to go on a trip for their 5 year anniversary in October. They were debating for weeks and weeks about what city to visit. They were weighing the pros and cons too much, so they threw all the cities that they wanted to visit into a mason jar and agreed that no matter what city they would pull out, they would go to that one. (WE LOVE THIS!) They pulled out Portland, Oregon and booked their flights within the hour! Sean proposed in Portland at the International Rose Garden. After they left the rose garden, they hopped in their rental car and decided to drive to the coast of Canon beach. While they were eating lunch there, they decided to drive to Astoria, OR where they just so happened to stumble upon a tourist site with a huge tower you could climb, that overlooked the whole city and river. Lacey says that the trip was so wonderful and she still daydreams about it regularly.
Together they love exploring new places and driving endless miles with no destination in mind.
They will be getting married on August 24th, 2019 at the beautiful Out Door Country Club in York, PA. We can’t wait to celebrate with them, meet their friends & families, and just be able to work with them again!
Congratulations, sweet friends! Thank you for allowing us to serve you on your wedding day! LOL! These two are so cute together! Flippin’ gorgeous!
