Katie + Chris are a sweet couple who I happened to meet at the Lebanon Country Club’s bridal show earlier this year. I’m so glad they stopped by my booth and decided to book me as their engagement and wedding photographer!

This adorable couple will be getting married at the Lebanon Country Club next June, and I can hardly wait to go back to their beautiful venue again! With Katie’s elegant style and her color choices of soft purples, pinks, and neutral tones, their wedding day will be stunning.

Katie + Chris met when they were just 13 years old at a mutual friend’s house. They were always friends, and when they were a few years older, they both worked at their local Taco Bell after school.

They have always been ‘just friends’, but they both liked each other, but dating for them didn’t work out… yet. At this time, Katie would be dating someone else, or Chris would be dating someone else. In their early 20s is when they really started considering dating each other. It didn’t take long for things to get serious, and finally Katie knew that Chris was the one for her! It was 8 years that they’ve been together just this May – wow!

With that said, they both knew that they really wanted to get married, but Chris wanted to finish his bachelor’s degree in computer science before he proposed to Katie. Katie always told him not to propose to her on her birthday or on a holiday, but he didn’t listen, and he ended up popping the question on Christmas Day of 2015! Katie says that she’s glad he didn’t listen and chose to do it then because that was the best Christmas gift and one of the best days of her life. So sweet!

Katie + Chris both enjoy cooking, watching movies, spending time with friends and family, and working out. One of Chris’ fondest memories from when they were dating was the look on Katie’s face when he asked her to marry him. Katie’s favorite memory of their dating years was when Chris met all of her brothers and sister and starting bonding with her family.

They are looking forward to their first dance as husband and wife, when they’re announced as Mr. and Mrs. Butler, and having all of their friends and family there to celebrate their wedding day with them.
