Fall is always a busy time for weddings and portraits, but we’re pretty sure that the fall of 2019 was our busiest time ever in the 8 years we’ve been in business. Which is why we’re a tad late with our annual Behind-the-Scenes blog post.
We are so thankful that God has given us our talents to bless others! We are so passionate about what we do for a living, but the connections we make with our couples and clients is the most important thing to us. We hope you enjoy scrolling through the photos below from some of our 2019 weddings.
Kate is so silly! I love her personality so much. The prettiest snowfall for the prettiest wedding and couple. (It wasn’t as pretty driving home that night, though. I got stuck pulling out of the venue and called Brandon to ask him what to do. I may have not been so nice to him because I was scared. LOL! After about two hours of driving very slowly and carefully, I made it home. Kate had some scary moments driving home, too, but she made it safely.) I’m really not even sure what I’m doing here. LOL! Same photographer, different hairstyle – which I’m currently growing out. See ya in three years, long hair! I probably told Brandon that he’s fired for getting in my shot. Can you tell I love styling details? And boy, what a farmer’s tan! My face, lol! The flower girls were just so cute, I couldn’t help it! Heidi saved the day with pinning Sean’s boutonnière!“Ooooh!” is my reaction to Rose’s gift. I spy Kate in both of these photos. Haha! Concentrating on something really hard apparently one moment, and in the next moment I’m super excited.
Probably holding my breath during this shot. I do this a lot! Thank goodness Kate had a kit of goodies including colorful bandaids that matched my outfit perfectly! Testing with OCF (off camera flash). Herbie’s best man looked so pretty in that white dress. LOL!
Oh, Kate. Apparently I’m telling them to form two lines for the bride & groom to walk through. Haha, that’s an attractive face! Thanks to whoever made a giant heart at Riverdale Manor! We enjoyed using it for portraits. Adam with Mixed Up Productions is so much fun to work with! Poor Sam wasn’t feeling the greatest, but was such a good sport! We love Jenna and her sweet team! And, there you have it, friends! Check out 2018’s behind-the-scenes blog post here.
2020 couples, we hope you’re ready for us! We are going to have so much fun together!
