Little to their knowledge, their relationship was being planned out well before they even had their first date by Megan’s mother and her group of other mother friends. After being provided with Megan’s number by Pete’s sister-in-law, their first date was set up for December 18th, 2011 at the Quentin Tavern. After a dinner of talking about their lives, their careers, families, and Penn State football, they left on their separate ways, but it was not long before Pete called for another date. The month of December was spent with Pete traveling to Berks County as much as he could with his busy work schedule. And before they knew it, they spent their first New Year’s together, went on their first vacation together to Mexico, and were spending every weekend together.
In January 2013, Pete decided to move from Harrisburg to Lebanon County, which was not only closer to his work, but also closer to Megan’s home. This moved helped in seeing each other more than just on the weekends. However, with this move closer to Berks County also came while Megan got a job in southern Lancaster County, which was over an hour from Myerstown. But even with all the changes they spent as much time together as they could with their busy work schedules.
As years passed with being inseparable as well as spending their time attending many Penn State football games, going on trips to New York City for New Year’s Eve, they went on a few weekend beach vacations, and went on many dates. They even got to go on all the Caribbean vacations to Mexico, Jamaica, Aruba, St. Lucia, and Antigua that they planned and absolutely loved. Through all this time they fell more in love with each other. Finally on August 10th, 2017, Pete finally asked Megan to spend the rest of their lives together.
The beautiful couple held their ceremony at Bear Mill Estate, a stunning venue located in Denver, PA, on July 14th, 2018. The natural beauty and old-world charm this venue has is out of this world! They couldn’t have picked a better location to hold their ceremony and reception.
Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Mohn! We are so happy for you and are so thankful that we got to be a part of your beautiful day. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! The sweet little flower girls’ dolls had the same dresses on. How adorable! Their JOY was CONTAGIOUS! Couples who choose Fox Meadows Creamery for their reception are the best couples in our book. We love ice cream! Megan & Pete’s little niece LOVED Tommy’s fog machine! Megan’s adorable parents won the longest married dance. How cute are they?! The Creative Team
